A heart can be a heavy thing but it's probably better to let the heaviness be, than to try and ignore it. It's no use. The more I awake from my slumber the more I realise how many of us try to be pleasant over being ourselves because we've come to believe we're wrong somehow. Dragging ourselves through faded days like ghosts fearing to be found out. Better to carry a heavy heart with proud shoulders.

It's a wonderful piece of #art, if a bit unsettling: painted ants on porcelain dish.
I think one can consider this a #mindfulness exercise, to appreciate the food more, because it guides your attention to the actual process of eating and drinking: the look, smell, taste, the touch of the lips against the cup, the texture, is something you drank/ate moving in your mouth?
