I am devastated, we all are reeling from the loss of so many good people we worked with, knew and relied on. We lost entire divisions. We cried and huddled and tried to support each other but with little success. We, as in FDA, will not be able to protect public health. Period. This is surreal. Years of service obliterated by evil people who are absolutely clueless how the government really works. I took a 20K pay cut to work for the government after getting tired of being laid off in the private sector again and again. I don’t know whether to take the severance or retire ugh. I can’t even think straight. I’ll look at all the documents attached to the email I received today, tomorrow. I really wish this was an April fools joke.
