My cherry tree is starting to blossom! (Click to embiggen -- this is another very wide photo so it may not all show up.)
The sky and tree say Trans Rights! #florespondence #BloomScrolling
Ok, so I know about #BloomScrolling and #Florespondence for posting blossoming plants, #Mosstodon for pictures of moss and #SavageGarden for carnivorous plants. But what's the punny hashtag for all the plants who rarely/never bloom (unless they are in their natural environment)? Where are all the fans of succulents, cacti, ficus trees and tropical plants posting their photos?
Do they count as the first flowers of the year if you find them at the grocery store? I vote yes, especially on a day as snowy, icy, and slushy as it is outdoors.
Fotos de la caminata de hoy por la tarde, que se sintió muy primaveral. #ArbolesUrbanos #UrbanTrees #FloraUrbana #Florespondence #Bloomscrolling
Went for a walk at the cemetery for the first time in a few weeks today and all the flowers were gorgeous; gonna have to go back more often this Spring UwU
Dasyscolia ciliata on Sage-leaved Rock-Rose (Cistus salviifolius)
After many years of building buds and dropping them, the camellias are finally flowering.
The trick? A mild winter, pots packed up with straw, and staying outside on the east balcony the entire time.
Desperately needed outside time this weekend and honestly the mushrooms delivered
Noticed the first pear blossoms yesterday #florespondence #BloomScrolling
#DailyDaffofdil looking a bit beat up. I'd blame the storm but I think the white daffodils are nearly done for the season already.
